LFH Acquisition Corp D/B/A Labor for Hire & Alternative Business Solutions is a Temporary Staffing provider of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled labor with six offices serving the Central and Southern part of Florida. The company was founded by its President, Vern Vokus in 1998.
LFH serves a broad market that fits within the scope of temporary staffing. The pools of employees are as follows:
- Unskilled workers that are available to perform various duties such as: debris clean-up, loading, unloading, sweeping, digging, stocking shelves, trash sorting, trash removal, miscellaneous maintenance, furniture moving, lawn maintenance, etc.
- Semi Skilled workers that are able to perform tasks and work at assignments that require some knowledge or experience such as: electrical helpers, plumbing helpers, carpenter assistants, janitorial maintenance, staff assistants, shipping, receiving, warehousing, forklift operator.
- Skilled workers are also provided to clients that have previous training and certifications to perform very specific functions such as: electricians, plumbers, carpenters, certified drivers, etc.
LFH markets its temporary staffing services to the following types of clients:
- Contractors and Sub-Contractors
- Warehouse Owners or Operators
- Janitorial Services
- Delivery / Shipping Companies
- Demolition and Removal Services
- Manufacturers
LFH differentiates it self from its competitors by putting a significant emphasis on the understanding of Workers Comp Insurance. The company provides training for the branch personnel and basis there incentive programs on safety and loss prevention. LFH also takes a very selective approach to its clients. The company performs an interview with its clients consisting of the clients’ safety procedures; safety record and complete understanding of what the task are for the temporary employee. Branch personnel operate with the clear understanding that we not only provide temporary employees but we are in essence also selling the client insurance. Once a client is attained the branch manger will perform periodic job site safety inspections.
